Happy Valentine's Day! I hope each of you enjoyed it with the people you love. I know I sure did!
For funsies, here's Audrey last year, her 1st Valentine's Day:
Eeeek! What a tiny little baby! And what a difference a year makes:
Getting ready to go out to dinner!
She was an angel at dinner! Which surprised us because she hadn't had an afternoon nap (she did fall asleep about 5 minutes before we got to the restaurant, in true Audrey fashion.)
Reading her Valentine's Day card from mom & dad (Dora!)
Love. That's what Valentine's Day is all about. And while I have always considered it a romantic holiday for couples, I have pretty much decided it's going to be about celebrating love as a family. Christopher is my Valentine, but sweet Audrey Cate is OUR Valentine, and will be until she's old enough to find someone worthy of being hers.
So, to both of my loves, a quote that sums it all up so nicely: "I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach." ~Elizabeth Barrett Browning

so sweet! I feel the same way. Jerry is my Valentine, but Emma Kate is OUR Valentine :)
I found your blog through the bump & your little girl is absolutely adorable! She always has the sweetest smiles! I am also a teacher & have loved it but every since I had my baby girl & went back to work 2 months ago I cant stand it :( How do you do it & still enjoy it? Where does Audrey go during the day?
Danielle~oh my, Mollie is so cute! Reminds me of when Audrey was that little with those adorable cheeks! I teach 2nd grade and I'm so busy during the day that I hardly have time to miss her! I've found that if I make the most out of my time at school, I can bring home much less work. Which of course turns into more time with Audrey in the evenings & on weekends. She goes to her grandparent's everyday, which also helps ease my mind! Chris brings her twice a week so that I can go into school extra early and get a lot done. I'm much happier now that I don't bring very much work home. It also helps that I have a super cool group of kids this year...what grade do you teach? Email me @ mrsburns04@gmail.com. I have tons more ideas to share and I'm happy to help!
This is so sweet. We feel the same way. It is just another chance to shower Sky with love and of course gifts, lol.
