Spring Break Day 3

We had a pretty good morning. Chris laid around until I nagged him enough to go outside and wash the swing set :) I got one of the hall closets cleaned out (yay me!) Abigail is doing crazy awesome standing by herself. She goes through all sorts of emotions when she realizes that she's doing it....excited, scared, mad. She starts taking frantic steps and then ends up crashing into me. I love it!



She won't get into a standing position straight from the floor just yet (she's maybe done it twice.) I'm sure that will happen in the next week or so!

I decided to take Audrey to her very first movie. The only kid-friendly movie that was playing was The Lorax. Audrey was very excited about our date!


When we walked into the theater, she insisted that we go all the way to the top. She was fine until the previews started!

She was literally in the fetal position, peeking at the screen through her fingers and saying, "I want to go hoooooome!"

I sat her on my lap and talked her through the previews. In hindsight, a 3D movie probably wasn't the best idea for her first movie, lol. About 10 minutes into the movie she was a lot more relaxed so I sat her in the next chair and gave her some gummies. She was great the rest of the movie!


I loved our little date. I hope we get to do it more often in the Summer!
